Our Team has been working on a new Initiative to help you comply with the new obligatory Whistleblowing Policy for companies in the European Union. Don't know what we are talking about? Read our article about it here.
To summarize, if your company has more than 50 employees you must have a way for your employees to report suspicious behavior anonymously until the end of 2022, and that is our new "Whistleblower Channel" Initiative.
How to set up the "Whistleblower Channel Initiative"?
Once you log in to the Wellbeing Warrior, as an Admin, you will click on "Initiatives" and then click on “New Initiative”. Afterward, scroll down and select "Whistleblower Channel". This is a Gather Board Template, and as such, everything is ready and you just need to press Create. You can also customize the name and the messages to your liking in this and all our initiatives.
The initiative is now ready. You can see it in your Admin Dashboard. Go there once in a while to check if you have any new reports and answer any new messages you might have.
Must Haves: To insure everything runs with no bugs!
- “Hidden Submissions” - make sure it's an anonymous report between you (reporter) and the assigned case manager;
- “Mandatory participation” - to ensure every employee and new hire are automatically included;
- 7-day reply after a new report is submitted.
Recommendations:
- We recommend the 3 months repetition for the initiative. This way, your company gets reminded about the whistleblower channel every 3 months. This is ideal, especially to account for your future new hires.
How to make a Report?
Everyone in a company can make a report anonymously.
- Log in to the Wellbeing Warrior
- Click on the "Whistleblower Channel" initiative that appears on "events you are taking part"
- Click on the latest time slot and write your report
- Select submit.
If you wish to reveal your identity, you can do so, in writing, while exchanging messages with the case manager. The Case Manager (Admin) will reach out to you once they receive your report.
